Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Title Agent to join our team. As a Title Agent, you'll possess an excellent working knowledge of all right of way disciplines, title, permitting, acquisition, and documentation. You'll be responsible for securing permission to enter properties from landowners and tenants, negotiating for ROW options, easements, fee interest, and curative documents, and maintaining detailed records of all activities.

Responsibilities
  • Assist ROW Supervisor in providing guidance to ROW Agents
  • Secure permission to enter properties from landowners and tenants
  • Negotiate for ROW options, easements, fee interest, and curative documents
  • Maintain detailed records of all activities
  • Negotiate Damage Settlements as required
  • Support all construction activities as required
  • Document all ROW activities as required
  • Adhere to project Safety Plan
Requirements
  • Associates Degree preferred or relevant experience
  • Experience as a title agent or a related title position
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including spreadsheet and word processing
  • Specialized knowledge in the methods and techniques for title research activities
  • Ability to work alone, make decisions, and use judgment while researching county records and performing other related activities

Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.
