Job Summary

Abrazo Health Network is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Emergency Department (ER) at our Arrowhead Campus. As a RN ER Part Time Nights, you will provide high-quality patient care, coordinate care planning with other disciplines, and act as a supervisor by assessing, planning, delegating, and utilizing independent judgment in directing other healthcare employees for the provision of patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provides professional nursing care within an assigned unit, prioritizing patient needs and ensuring timely interventions.
  • Coordinates care planning with other disciplines, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Acts as a supervisor, assessing, planning, delegating, and utilizing independent judgment in directing other healthcare employees for the provision of patient care.
  • Systematically evaluates the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice to identify patient goals and areas for improvement.
  • Participates in hourly rounding, observing safety guidelines and safe work practices to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • May be asked to be in charge for a shift(s), supervising other members of the healthcare team and making decisions to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona.
  • CPR certification.
  • ACLS certification as applicable by Facility/by Department.
  • Minimum of two years of current Level III NICU experience including neonatal ventilator, or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Preferred experience in acute care, with certification in specialty area of practice.
Preferred Qualifications
  • BSN degree from an accredited nursing school.
  • Experience in CVICU or ICU, or minimum of two years in Cardiac Stepdown.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with team members.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
