Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our ER team on a part-time basis, working nights. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, coordinate care planning with other disciplines, and act as a supervisor to ensure seamless delivery of patient services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides professional nursing care within an assigned unit, prioritizing patient needs and delivering individualized care based on the nursing process.
- Coordinates care planning with other disciplines, ensuring comprehensive and effective patient care.
- Acts as a supervisor, assessing, planning, delegating, and utilizing independent judgment in directing other healthcare employees for the provision of patient care.
- Systematically evaluates the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice to identify patient goals and areas for improvement.
- Participates in hourly rounding, observing safety guidelines and safe work practices.
- May be asked to be in charge for a shift(s), supervising other members of the healthcare team.
Requirements
- License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona.
- CPR certification.
- ACLS certification as applicable by Facility/by Department.
- Minimum of two years of current Level III NICU experience, including neonatal ventilator experience.
- Prefer 1 year of acute care experience, but will consider new graduates.
- Certification in specialty area of practice preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN degree from an accredited nursing school.
- Experience in CVICU or ICU or Min 2 years in Cardiac Stepdown.
