Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Neuro ICU team at Abrazo Arrowhead Campus. As a Neuro ICU Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals with complex neurological conditions. Your expertise and compassion will make a significant impact on the lives of our patients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to patients with neurological conditions, including stroke, brain hemorrhage, aneurysms, tumors, and other diseases involving the brain and spine.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of intensivists, nurse practitioners, therapists, and neurosurgeons to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in their condition, ensuring timely interventions and effective communication with the healthcare team.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical advancements and best practices in Neuro ICU care.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of excellence and patient-centered care.
Requirements
- Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school.
- License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona.
- BSN preferred.
- At least 1 year of acute care experience in ICU or Neuro ICU.
- ACLS/CPR certification required upon orientation completion.
- ER, ICU, Endoscopy, Tele, Cardiac Cath Lab experience preferred.
- CNRN or CCRN certification preferred.
