Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Neuro ICU team at Abrazo Arrowhead Campus. As a Neuro ICU Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care to critically ill patients with neurological injuries, including stroke, brain hemorrhage, aneurysms, tumors, and other diseases involving the brain and spine.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill patients with neurological injuries
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, including intensivists, nurse practitioners, therapists, and neurosurgeons and neurologists
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Monitor and manage patient's condition, including vital signs, lab results, and medication administration
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination

Requirements

  • Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school
  • License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona
  • BSN preferred
  • 1 year of acute care experience in ICU or Neuro ICU preferred
  • ACLS/CPR certification required upon orientation completion
  • ER, ICU, Endoscopy, Tele, Cardiac Cath Lab certifications preferred
  • CNRN or CCRN certification preferred
