About the Role:

AMN Healthcare is partnering with a well-respected school district in Hawaii to hire a highly motivated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with students, teachers, and parents to provide comprehensive speech and language services that support students' academic and social development.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) with goals for students with speech and language needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings, monitoring and documenting student progress, and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Offer training and resources to teachers and staff on effective strategies to integrate speech therapy goals into the classroom environment.

Requirements:

  • Speech/Language Pathologist, School, Teletherapy Licenses
  • Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or Related Field
  • State SLP License in State of Residence
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA)
