About the Role

Child & Family Service is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Outreach Specialist to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for conducting community outreach and screening for trauma and/or mental health concerns. Your primary focus will be on individuals and families who have experienced trauma due to natural disasters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct community outreach and provide information and referral services as needed.
  • Screen for trauma and/or mental health concerns and provide informal lay counseling where appropriate.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders to enhance service delivery.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field.
  • At least one year of experience providing direct care to children and adolescents.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care and crisis response.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people of diverse backgrounds.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and generous paid time off.
