Job Summary

Assist in the management of the daily functions of the department to ensure protection of property assets, employees, guests, and property. Maintain logs, certifications, and documents required by law and Standard Operating Procedures. Assist in the training of staff in established emergency procedures and implement accident and fire prevention procedures. Position focuses on ensuring guest and employee satisfaction while achieving the operating budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage security and loss prevention operations to ensure the safety and security of guests, employees, and property.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize losses and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services to ensure effective response to incidents.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on security and loss prevention procedures.
  • Monitor and analyze security and loss prevention metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 3 years of experience in security or loss prevention preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of security and loss prevention principles and practices.
