Role Description:
We are in search of a Full-Time Customer Service Representative to enhance our order management team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in international shipping and will be responsible for maintaining effective communication with both internal and external clients via electronic correspondence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Review all orders for precision and ensure they are processed by the end of each business day.
2. Generate and send sales order confirmations to clients and relevant sales personnel.
3. Address and resolve any discrepancies related to orders.
4. Input orders into the ERP booking system accurately.
5. Prepare formal quotes and proposals as requested by sales representatives and clients.
6. Manage and monitor quotations within the Salesforce database.
7. Engage in extensive customer interactions through email.
8. Ensure all necessary documentation is organized within each order folder.
9. Provide exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders via email.
10. Regularly update required spreadsheets.
11. Monitor multiple customer portals and support inbox for new purchase orders throughout the day.
12. Handle incoming calls on the sales line, assisting or directing customers to the appropriate contacts.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service.
2. Proficient in email communication; strong skills in Excel, Word, and data entry.
3. Familiarity with various payment terms.
4. Experience in manufacturing environments is preferred.
5. Knowledge of product lead times.
6. Experience with international shipping is advantageous.
7. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently, and proactively resolve issues.
Compensation:
Salary range is competitive and commensurate with experience.
