Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hospitality Bartender to join our team at Proof of the Pudding. As a Hospitality Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and break down bars in a timely and efficient manner
  • Communicate effectively with bar back personnel to ensure smooth service
  • Provide exceptional customer service and greet guests with a smile
  • Clean and maintain the bar area, including discarding excess ice and recording closing inventory
  • Follow all federal, local, and venue alcohol policies
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of bartending experience
  • TIPs/TEAM certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Knowledge of upscale/VIP service styles
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
Work Environment

The work environment for this position will be dynamic and fast-paced, with the opportunity to work with a variety of events and clients. You will be required to work out of and report to the Newport Yachting Center Marina, and may be required to move throughout the grounds and venue on different terrains.

Physical Demands
  • Prolonged periods of standing and moving throughout the event space
  • Bending, lifting, scooping, and carrying miscellaneous equipment and food items
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, such as but not limited to, lifting up-to 30 pounds
