About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team at Sensient Technologies' Natural Ingredients business in Turlock, California.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee project management, engineering design, construction, and start-up of capital projects within the division.
  • Lead the Turlock site's 5-year capital planning process.
  • Develop, design, plan, and budget all SNI capital projects.
  • Provide project oversight of all outside engineering and construction firms on all capital project executions.
  • Facilitate and/or execute Continuous Improvement activities through analyzing facility and equipment capital needs, maintenance/repair programs, production processes and activities.
Requirements
  • Highly skilled with a strong technical background in various construction disciplines like power, controls, instrumentation, mechanical, civil, structural, safety, and design.
  • Possess exceptional organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively, and be a proficient communicator with robust cross-division team leadership capabilities.
  • Motivated self-starter who can work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • A bachelor's degree in chemical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering (or equivalent) with a preference for a master's degree.
  • A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in plant/process engineering and project management, particularly in the Food sector.

Sensient Technologies Corporation is a leading global manufacturer and marketer of colors, flavors, and extracts. Sensient employs advanced technologies at facilities around the world to develop specialty food and beverage systems, cosmetic and pharmaceutical systems, specialty colors, and other specialty and fine chemicals.

The salary range for this position is $130,000 - $150,000 USD. Pay within the range is based on several factors, which may include, but are not limited to, education, work experience, specialized training, and labor market conditions.

This position is eligible for performance-based incentive pay. Due to our inability to offer visa sponsorship, we can only consider candidates who are authorized to work in the US without the need for employment visa sponsorship.
