About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Webinar and Events Specialist to join our team at Cherry Bekaert. As a key member of our Marketing department, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing high-quality webinars, virtual events, and corporate events that drive brand awareness and exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Planning and Execution: Support the day-to-day planning and execution of client-facing webinars, virtual events, corporate events, industry and service line conferences, including pre and post-event communications and attendee management.
  • Marketing Support: Collaborate across the Marketing department and Knowledge team to contribute to meeting design, agenda development, brand building, and event communications and marketing.
  • Event Materials and Creative Decisions: Assist in organizing event materials and creative decisions, and follow-up with attendees for success stories.
  • Webinar and Virtual Event Coordination: Coordinate webinars and virtual events alongside the Production Manager to develop engagement activities, scripts, video production elements, talent coordination, platform management, scheduling, etc.
  • Event Logistics and Operations: Assist the Marketing Events Manager in preparing pre-event checklist items, hotel rooming lists, BEOs, and setting up and dismantling events efficiently through to completion.
  • Vendor Management: Collaborate with event, promotional, and print vendors as needed in conjunction with the design team.
  • Content Development: Partner with the content team to develop strategies leveraging existing content and access to industry communities to promote events.
  • Event Calendar Planning: Work closely with the Industry and Service Line Marketing Leads in strategic planning of events calendar.
Requirements
  • Self-Starter with Tech Savvy: Be a self-starter with a can-do attitude, tech-savvy, and strong attention to detail.
  • Team Player with Executive Presence: Demonstrate a strong sense of teaming and collaboration with solid executive presence for internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Event Planning and Coordination Experience: Have experience organizing and coordinating multiple events simultaneously, with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
  • Marketing and Production Experience: Possess previous professional experience in a marketing, production, event planning, or administrative role, preferably in a professional services firm.
  • Virtual Event Experience: Have experience working on virtual events with live streaming or broadcast components.
  • CRM System Knowledge: Possess knowledge of CRM systems and experience with Adobe Creative Suites is a plus.
  • Autonomy and Connectivity: Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously/independently when necessary in a virtual work environment, while maintaining connectivity with the Industry Marketing Lead and other members of the marketing department.
  • Education and Experience: Hold a Bachelor's Degree in marketing, events management, communications, or journalism, or a related field, and have a minimum of 3 years related experience.
