Material Logistics Specialist

SUMMARY
As a vital contributor to our operations, you will be responsible for the precise counting, storage, and retrieval of materials in accordance with established protocols and guidelines. It is essential to ensure the meticulous completion of all relevant documentation and records. Familiarity with various controls and procedures, including error rates, shortages, and cycle counting, is crucial. Compliance with HAZMAT, as well as international and domestic shipping regulations, is mandatory.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Efficiently fill, deliver, and replenish production and other manufacturing work orders in a timely manner.
- Thoroughly complete all necessary paperwork to adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Support inventory accuracy through recounts and cycle counts.
- Count incoming or returned products to prepare for inventory integration.
- Accurately log and store items within the inventory system, which may involve data entry tasks.
- Safely and effectively operate a Wave (similar to a cherry picker), forklift, and other powered lifting equipment as required for kit assembly.
- Ship products in accordance with established shipping schedules and customer specifications, or in the most efficient manner when not specified.
- Complete all required documentation and records.
- Assist in creating work instructions and recommend documentation modifications as necessary.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, ensuring all standards are upheld.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
AUTHORITY
- Authorized to request necessary supplies and resources to fulfill assigned tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Proficient in reading and understanding English.
- Ability to walk and move continuously throughout the workday.
- Basic computer and clerical skills.
- Strong mathematical abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
- Reliable attendance and dependability.
- Preferred experience operating a Reach Truck.
- Must be able to complete a position assessment test.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to sit, walk, and stand. The employee may occasionally need to use hands to handle objects, reach with hands and arms, stoop, talk, and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or exert force ranging from 25 to 75 pounds and push/pull up to 300 pounds. Specific vision abilities required for this role include close vision and distance vision.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The majority of time will be spent in a manufacturing environment. The role may require the operation of machinery or the use of tools.
