Overview:
Schlafly Corp is seeking a skilled Production Planning Specialist to enhance our operations in St. Louis, Missouri.

In this role, you will be instrumental in facilitating the smooth and efficient functioning of our brewery by overseeing the planning and scheduling of production processes.

We are in search of a meticulous individual with strong communication abilities, who is enthusiastic about the craft beer sector.


Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the production team to create and uphold a production timetable that aligns with customer requirements while maximizing resources and minimizing expenses.
  • Liaise with different departments, including brewing, packaging, and logistics, to guarantee the prompt execution of production strategies.
  • Keep track of inventory levels for raw materials and finished goods to ensure sufficient supply and avert shortages.
  • Evaluate production data and performance indicators to pinpoint areas for enhancement and execute corrective measures as necessary.
  • Maintain precise documentation of production schedules, inventory statuses, and other pertinent information.
  • Assist in the formulation and application of production planning and scheduling policies and protocols.
  • Provide assistance to the production team as required, including participating in meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience as a supply chain planner/scheduler in a manufacturing or brewery setting is preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with Vicinity software or other manufacturing planning and scheduling tools is advantageous.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
  • A passion for the craft beer industry and a commitment to professional growth in the role.
