Equipment Technician

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Mechanic to join our team at Altec Industries, Inc. As an Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our heavy equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition and meet our high standards.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including aerial devices, digger derricks, chippers, cranes, and other heavy machinery
- Utilize technical support resources, such as operator and maintenance manuals, to troubleshoot and repair equipment
- Conduct unit condition inspections and reports to ensure equipment is in good working condition
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to Altec's safety practices and procedures
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with supervisors and customers
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive company vehicles
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software
