Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Compact Construction Equipment Sales Manager to join our team at Quality Equipment, LLC. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for establishing the pricing strategy for the sales and rental of compact construction equipment, working closely with the Sales Director to interpret and administer sales programs, and leading efforts to grow sales and market share in the compact construction equipment segment.

The ideal candidate will possess in-depth product knowledge of compact construction equipment, including skid steers, compact track loaders, compact excavators, and compact wheel loaders. They will also have a sound understanding of used equipment markets, valuation techniques, deal making, and retail financing programs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as you will be working closely with customers, sales staff, and field service technicians.

As a Compact Construction Equipment Sales Manager, you will be responsible for ordering and inventory management of compact construction equipment items, managing sales staff dedicated to compact construction equipment, and serving as the revenue-generating salesperson for the sale of compact construction equipment to customers in the Raleigh/Durham metro area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish pricing strategy for sales and rental of compact construction equipment
  • Work with Sales Director to interpret and administer sales programs
  • Lead efforts to grow sales and market share in compact construction equipment segment
  • Provide trade allowance figures on compact construction equipment
  • Manage sales staff dedicated to compact construction equipment
  • Order and inventory management of compact construction equipment items
  • Serve as revenue-generating salesperson for compact construction equipment

Requirements:

  • Previous sales experience
  • Existing industry knowledge of compact construction equipment
  • Sound understanding of used equipment markets, valuation techniques, deal making, and retail financing programs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Results-oriented
