We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Biscuitville FRESH SOUTHERN. This role will be based out of our Distribution Center in Burlington, NC.

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing regular preventive maintenance service to HVAC, refrigeration equipment, ice machines, cooking equipment, and water heaters. They will also maintain the preventative schedule as outlined for the restaurants, restock and reorder needed supplies, and work in the Corrigo system to update and complete work orders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance service to ensure equipment is running efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintain the preventative schedule as outlined for the restaurants, ensuring all equipment is serviced on a regular basis.
  • Restock and reorder needed supplies to complete upcoming equipment PMs.
  • Work in the Corrigo system to update and complete work orders.
  • Maintain a safe work environment, including the truck, maintenance shop, and restaurants where work is being performed.
  • Provide support for emergencies and unscheduled repairs to restaurant equipment and/or the building.
  • Support technicians with parts/equipment pull, staging, and deliveries as needed.
  • Keep records such as invoices and assist the Inventory Parts Specialist with maintaining inventory on trucks, warehouse inventory levels, restocking parts as needed.
  • Complete Zenput Facilities Walk at stores quarterly.
  • Identify, resolve, and alert management to any equipment or building issues for future repairs.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Certificate in Industrial Maintenance or related field, or at least 2 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Carpentry, electrical, plumbing, cooking equipment - classes or experience on commercial fryers and ovens is helpful.
  • Mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including early mornings.
  • Knowledge/experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Mgmt. System) CORRIGO experience is a plus.
  • Comfortable working independently with minimum supervision.
