The Tsui Group is in search of a skilled and knowledgeable individual to take on the role of Construction Project Scheduler for a significant educational initiative. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project timelines, outlining dependencies, key milestones, and potential constraints for various construction endeavors.
  • Independently analyze and interpret detailed construction plans across multiple disciplines (Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Civil, etc.) to fully grasp the scope of work.
  • Evaluate the contractor's initial schedule submissions, ensuring all project components are accurately represented and logically sequenced; provide thorough written feedback on schedule reviews.
  • Conduct quality assurance and quality control on contractor schedule submissions to ensure compliance with contractual obligations; assess critical paths, resource allocations, and overall schedule integrity.
  • Perform Time Impact Analysis for any modifications affecting the construction timeline; engage in discussions with stakeholders regarding delay time settlements.
  • Review drawings to ascertain whether tasks fall within the defined scope, and apply contract terms to evaluate the validity of time extension requests.
  • Execute Critical Path and Earned Value analyses as necessary.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor contractor progress against the established schedule; compile reports for project oversight and management.
  • Facilitate effective communication with contractors concerning all schedule-related issues during regular status meetings.
  • Regularly perform QA/QC assessments on program schedules to maintain accuracy and reliability.
  • Update program schedules and master schedules bi-monthly to reflect current project status.
  • Ensure adherence to program-level standards for coding, layout, and reporting to uphold data integrity.
  • Act as a liaison among project teams, departmental leadership, and the Program & Project Controls division.
  • Prepare necessary reports as directed by management.
Qualifications:

Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Construction Scheduling, preferably within educational or public works projects.

Technical Skills:
Proficient in the latest version of Primavera and MS Office Suite.

Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management from an accredited institution.
OR
Bachelor's degree in any field with an additional two years of relevant experience in Construction Scheduling.

Essential Skills:
Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
Strong organizational and planning capabilities.
Proven ability to foster productive working relationships with project teams and departmental staff.
Comprehensive understanding of cost engineering principles, scheduling methodologies, and schedule forensics.

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary Range:
$147,000 - $152,000
