About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team at Providence Swedish First Hill. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, working closely with the surgical team to provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies, ensuring they are sterile and ready for use.
  • Assist the surgical team in positioning patients, preparing the operating room, and maintaining a safe and efficient environment.
  • Coordinate with the surgical team to ensure that all necessary equipment and supplies are available and functioning properly.
  • Participate in the maintenance of surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure that all patients receive high-quality care and attention.
Requirements
  • Certificate of completion of a surgical technician vocational program or documentation of equivalent training.
  • Washington Surgical Technologist Registration upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 6 months of experience in a hospital operating room.
