About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team at Providence Swedish Medical Center. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other medical professionals to provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and supplies, ensuring they are sterile and ready for use.
  • Assist surgeons and other medical professionals during procedures, providing support and maintaining a safe and efficient operating environment.
  • Coordinate with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including instrument counts and sponge counts.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • Certificate of completion of a surgical technician vocational program or equivalent training.
  • Washington Surgical Technologist Registration.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
