Overview:

The FirstDay Foundation is seeking a visionary leader to oversee our Information Systems department. This role is crucial in enhancing our technological capabilities and ensuring that our systems effectively support our mission.

Position Details:
This is an on-site position, operating Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, with additional hours as necessary.

Educational Background:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required. A Master's degree is highly preferred.

Certifications:
Preferred certifications include those related to project management (PMP), Salesforce, Workday, or comparable technologies.

Professional Experience:
Applicants should possess a minimum of 7 years in IT management. Experience with one or more of the following ERP systems is essential: Workday, Salesforce, Microsoft systems (especially SharePoint), and/or Acumatica. Experience in managing a Project Management Office is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership:
    Formulate and implement a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with the organization’s goals, emphasizing scalability, security, and operational efficiency.
  • Systems Oversight:
    Manage the deployment and integration of essential systems, ensuring they fulfill the organization’s requirements.
  • Project Management Office Leadership:
    Direct the PMO to guarantee timely and budget-compliant delivery of IT projects, establishing best practices for project management.
  • Collaborative Engagement:
    Partner with department leaders to pinpoint opportunities for process enhancements and system integrations that boost productivity and customer satisfaction.
  • Data Security and Compliance:
    Maintain the integrity and security of IT systems and data, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory standards.
  • Vendor Relations:
    Oversee contracts with software vendors and service providers, ensuring they meet quality and cost-effectiveness criteria.
  • Team Development:
    Build and lead a high-performing IT team, providing mentorship and growth opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • A proven history of implementing and optimizing complex IT systems and leading significant IT projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of data security, compliance standards, and IT governance.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking capabilities with a focus on advanced technology implementations.
  • Experience in change management and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Additional Responsibilities:
Perform other duties as assigned.
