About the Role

USAA is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Intern to join our team. As a CFO Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of financial projects and develop your skills in financial analysis, planning, and modeling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analysis to support business decision-making.
  • Conduct financial research and produce reports to inform business strategies.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to forecast income, profitability, and liquidity.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of related experience and accountability for simple to moderately complex tasks and/or projects.
  • Effective written, communication, presentation, and computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Foundational knowledge of data analysis and relevant technical accounting/finance acumen.
