You will also be responsible for working hands-on with prospects and customers to demonstrate and communicate the value of Snowflake technology throughout the sales cycle.
As a Sales Engineer at Snowflake, you must share our passion for reinventing the database space and thrive in a dynamic environment. You will be expected to have a broad range of experience within large-scale Database and/or Data Warehouse technology, ETL, analytics, and cloud technologies. Additionally, you will need to have hands-on expertise with SQL and SQL analytics.
We are looking for a candidate who is customer-obsessed and has a growth mindset. You will be accountable for supporting and enabling diversity and belonging, and will be expected to follow the company's confidentiality and security standards for handling sensitive data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers
- Work hands-on with prospects and customers to demonstrate and communicate the value of Snowflake technology throughout the sales cycle
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to continuously improve Snowflake's products and marketing
Requirements:
- Outstanding presenting skills to both technical and executive audiences
- Broad range of experience within large-scale Database and/or Data Warehouse technology, ETL, analytics, and cloud technologies
- Hands-on expertise with SQL and SQL analytics
- University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields, or equivalent experience
