Chief Engineer - Automotive Lighting

Mpowering People is seeking a highly skilled Chief Engineer - Automotive Lighting to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in collaborating with OEM partners to drive the development of cutting-edge lighting solutions for the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate Technical Requirements: Assess and interpret technical product requirements from customers to ensure product alignment with client standards.
  • Product System Specification Development: Lead the creation of system requirement specifications based on product use cases and ensure adherence to industry standards.
  • Collaborate with OEM and Internal Teams: Act as the primary liaison between OEM partners and internal product engineering teams, facilitating alignment on subsystems, module definitions, interface specifications, and overall system integration.
  • Test Strategy Management: Develop, implement, and manage the product test strategy in coordination with the system integration team to ensure timely and high-quality project deliveries.
Key Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in automotive lighting development.
  • Proven track record of leading the full design and production of at least 3 automotive lamp programs from RFQ to production.
  • Expertise in multiple engineering areas, including mechanical, optical, and electronic domains of lighting systems.
  • Strong experience working closely with OEMs to develop current programs.
  • Innovative problem-solving skills and a demonstrated ability to think outside the box.
