Overview

The Training Program Manager plays a pivotal role within the Corporate Training Solutions Division, focusing on the development and coordination of training initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

The Training Program Manager undertakes a variety of complex tasks with minimal supervision. Responsibilities include:
  • Conducting comprehensive analyses of domestic and international training programs.
  • Leading teams of analysts and subject matter experts to design and execute training projects.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to define project requirements and scope.
  • Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Planning budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
  • Monitoring project progress and communicating updates to stakeholders.
  • Evaluating training deliverables and providing recommendations for acceptance.
  • Addressing issues and escalating them to leadership as necessary.
  • Analyzing outcomes and integrating lessons learned into future initiatives.


The Training Program Manager also fosters relationships with stakeholders to enhance training delivery aligned with the division's mission. This includes:
  • Communicating policies and capabilities to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Serving as the primary contact for international training initiatives.
  • Coordinating with experts to assess training needs and providing strategic recommendations.
  • Reporting on training outcomes and advising management on organizational planning and resource utilization.


Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must demonstrate specialized experience equivalent to a specific federal grade level. This includes:
  • Experience in program management and training analysis.
  • Expertise in developing and implementing policies and management tools.
  • Ability to identify and propose solutions for enhancing organizational effectiveness.
