Operations Coordinator Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Operations Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our production department, ensuring that all products meet high-quality standards, and maximizing productivity while minimizing costs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, with experience in supervising teams and managing day-to-day operations. You will be responsible for directing shift supervisors on production volume, quality standards, cost constraints, and scheduling requirements, as well as training and supervising production personnel. In addition, you will need to manage employee performance, initiate and direct employee activities, allocate work to employees, set production targets, and communicate precise instructions.

This role also requires effective employee relations, responding to employee concerns promptly, and working with HR to resolve any issues. Furthermore, you will be responsible for monitoring and initiating training activities in your department, ensuring that all employees work in a safe manner, conducting employee meetings, completing performance evaluations, performing weekly safety inspections, 5s inspections, and layered audits, and participating in the corrective action process.

As an Operations Coordinator at Linamar, you can expect a competitive salary of $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for career advancement, community-based outreach supporting local and global initiatives, social committees, sports teams, and discounts for local vendors and events.
