The Facilities Shift Supervisor is accountable for overseeing the maintenance and housekeeping teams during their designated shifts. This role is crucial in ensuring that all facility-related issues, including maintenance, repairs, and emergencies, are addressed promptly and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the Facility Manager in maintaining efficient operations within the maintenance department and supervising staff during the assigned shift.
- Organize and assign tasks to maintenance and housekeeping personnel.
- Monitor and implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures.
- Respond to emergency situations, such as fires, power outages, gas leaks, or water leaks, ensuring swift resolution.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- A minimum of six months of experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
- Capability to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and work in confined spaces.
- Proficient in the safe and effective use of hand and power tools.
- Ability to communicate effectively using two-way radios.
- Strong communication skills are essential.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain any required licenses and/or certifications.
