Role: Senior Medical Liaison, Nephrology - Rare Disease
Territory: Various Regions
Key Responsibilities
In this pivotal role, you will act as a scientific representative to the medical community, focusing on establishing and nurturing relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals.
Your main duties will include:
- Engaging with external stakeholders, including medical thought leaders and healthcare institutions, while adhering to compliance and regulatory standards.
- Effectively communicating scientific and medical information, highlighting the commercial benefits of our products to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrating adaptability in a dynamic environment, integrating feedback from healthcare professionals to enhance our offerings.
- Collaborating with various departments to identify and address opportunities for sharing scientific and medical insights.
- Identifying and training potential speakers for external programs.
- Participating in scientific conferences and meetings to gather competitive intelligence and maintain relationships with key researchers.
- Working alongside medical affairs and clinical teams to evaluate and facilitate external research collaborations.
- Monitoring industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Doctorate degree with a minimum of 2 years in Medical Affairs, or
- A Master’s degree with at least 6 years of experience, or
- A Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Skills
We value candidates with:
- 3+ years of experience in Field Medical Affairs.
- 2+ years in Nephrology or related fields (e.g., Transplant, Dialysis).
- Exceptional communication and networking abilities.
- A willingness to travel extensively for territory management and professional engagements.
