Clinical Liaison Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Liaison to join our team at Select Medical. As a Clinical Liaison, you will serve as an advocate for patients during the pre-admission process, working closely with clinical teams and healthcare professionals to evaluate patients' medical needs and develop results-producing relationships throughout the medical facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform clinical assessments of referred patients and counsel with patient's families to assist them in making the best care decisions for their loved one.
  • Partner with hospital case managers to create smooth patient transfer processes and help remove payer-related and operational barriers to getting appropriate patients into this highly effective level of care.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals and facilities to identify post-ICU patients who will benefit from our specialized extension of acute care.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) or Respiratory Therapist (RT) License.
  • Prior sales or business development experience is preferred.
