Facilities Management Coordinator

About this role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Management Coordinator to join our team at Denver Public Schools. As a key member of our operations division, you will be responsible for the creation and management of critical processes and systems, including financials, procurement, databases, workers compensation, and capital equipment inventory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the point of contact and subject matter expert for the operations division, acting as a liaison between schools, customers, departments, workforce, and vendors.
- Manage the division's purchasing process for capital equipment and supplies, ensuring accuracy in pricing, delivery, and billing.
- Communicate and work directly with vendors to ensure timely and efficient transactions.
- Implement critical processes for field personnel and administration to ensure efficient business practices.
- Ensure the accurate maintenance of records and prepare reports from division systems.
- Act as the proxy for all human resources personnel transactions for the division's administration.
- Provide supervision and direction of office support employees.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in a fast-paced office environment.
- Experience with data compilation, entry, review, interpretation, and metrics tracking.
- Ability to lead for racial and educational excellence and work to dismantle systems of oppression and inequity in our community.
- Ability to live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position.
