Key Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing expert guidance to clients on the implementation of corporate enterprise and operational risk frameworks.
- Designing and executing risk management initiatives that assess potential risks and develop strategies aligned with the organization’s risk appetite.
- Formulating and executing strategies to enhance risk management capabilities across business units.
- Assisting business units in identifying, evaluating, prioritizing, monitoring, and reporting on enterprise and operational risks.
- Reviewing the effectiveness of risk mitigation strategies and integrating industry best practices.
- Monitoring key risk indicators and events that may affect the operational risk profile.
- Supporting Risk Governance initiatives and contributing to comprehensive risk reports for various stakeholders.
- Conducting research on trends and practices in operational risk management.
- Advising business units on strategies to mitigate or reduce identified risks.
- Promoting a risk-aware culture throughout the organization.
- Participating in the design and implementation of technological solutions for risk management.
- Performing additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Master’s degree or equivalent in a business or finance-related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of practical experience in Operational Risk Management.
- In-depth knowledge of Operational Risk Management frameworks and processes.
- Experience in guiding business units in the implementation of risk management frameworks.
- Proficiency in preparing risk reports for stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Familiarity with Governance, Risk, and Compliance systems.
- Experience with reporting tools such as Business Objects and Tableau.
- Exposure to AI and Machine Learning solutions is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities in managing teams and projects.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- A willingness to travel for short-term assignments.
