Job Title: Irrigation Specialist Quincy Area

We are seeking a highly skilled Irrigation Specialist to join our team in Quincy. As an Irrigation Specialist, you will be responsible for operating an ATV to complete job tasks, turning on irrigation according to instructions, and inspecting/repairing pipes and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate an ATV to complete job tasks in accordance with company standards
  • Turn on irrigation according to instructions from the Foreman, Farm Manager, or Regional Manager
  • Inspect and repair pipes, sprinklers, mainlines, and other equipment related to irrigation
  • Site prepare for new orchard blocks
  • Apply fertigation when needed
  • Place/remove bins within harvest blocks
  • Observe safety and security procedures and attend safety meetings
  • Report potentially unsafe conditions and use equipment/materials as instructed
  • Complete other job tasks as needed, including pruning, thinning, pulling weeds, trellis work, tree training, general clean up, and planting
