Pricing Specialist

This role involves close collaboration with all pricing team members, vendor partners, Store Directors, and Festival team members to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.

The Pricing Specialist will implement controlled processes to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Promote Festival culture, customer service, and performance standards among all pricing associates.

2. Ensure consistent practices within the pricing software that uphold Festival Foods' pricing image. Investigate and rectify discrepancies, providing clear and honest feedback.

3. Maintain appropriate staffing levels by interviewing candidates and extending job offers as needed.

4. Train and mentor new pricing associates on policies and procedures related to departmental standards, including SMS pricing software, pricing handhelds, and Nexgen 365.


5. Actively participate in Performance and Development Summary and annual goal-setting for yourself and the pricing team members.

6. Collaborate with the Pricing Support Team to keep the pricing manual and signage program updated.

7. Prepare and approve weekly work schedules for pricing associates, ensuring alignment with departmental needs.

8. Document any violations of company policies by pricing associates and take appropriate corrective actions, including potential termination.

9. Hold department managers and vendors accountable for maintaining pricing standards within the store. Work directly with department managers and Store Directors to ensure adherence to Standard Operating Plans.

10. Review weekly verification results to identify gaps and address incorrect stocking issues with the relevant department manager. Communicate findings to the Pricing Support Team.

11. Assist customers in locating items on the sales floor and address any concerns or issues they may have.

12. Utilize the Boomerang Basics to coach and develop team members, preparing associates for advancement opportunities.

13. Contribute to the overall cleanliness of the department by organizing and maintaining work areas.

14. Ensure regular and timely attendance in accordance with the work schedule, providing adequate notice for any absences.

WORK SCHEDULE:
The Pricing Specialist is a full-time hourly position. The work schedule will include daytime shifts, occasional evenings/weekends, and early morning shifts.
