About the Role

The MRO Buyer is a key member of our team, responsible for sourcing and procuring maintenance, repair, and operating (MRO) supplies and services for our division. This role requires strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to analyze supplier quotations and award purchase orders/contracts.

Responsibilities
  • Negotiate optimal pricing and terms with suppliers
  • Participate in review meetings to ensure successful product launches
  • Work with maintenance and production teams to ensure effective use of MRO crib
  • Analyze supplier quotations and award purchase orders/contracts
  • Ensure timely delivery of acceptable quality goods and services
Requirements
  • College/University degree in Purchasing, Materials, or Business discipline
  • 5 years of experience in Purchasing/Materials Management related field
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products and ERP systems
