Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the formulation and implementation of successful bids and business opportunities to achieve and surpass revenue targets.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders at prospective clients to enhance visibility and stimulate new business.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from initial engagement to contract signing, ensuring a seamless transition to the operational team.
- Collaborate with the Sales & Retention Director to enhance Restaurant Associates' reputation within the industry.
- Identify and address challenges to success, ensuring we remain ahead of market trends and client expectations.
- Devise creative and innovative business development strategies that resonate with potential clients.
- Utilize central marketing initiatives to elevate Restaurant Associates' visibility and thought leadership in the market.
- Extensive experience in business development or procurement within the public sector, particularly in foodservice and hospitality.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with high-level clients and partners.
- Strong project management capabilities and experience handling lengthy sales cycles.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the capacity to produce high-quality proposals and tender documents.
- A strategic thinker capable of managing multiple initiatives concurrently and adapting to evolving circumstances.
- Commercial insight with the ability to create compelling, financially viable proposals.
- A credible representative for Restaurant Associates, both internally and externally.
- Valid UK driving license.
- Willingness to travel and engage with clients across various locations.
