Virtual Behavioral Health Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Clinical Psychologist to join our virtual behavioral health collaborative care program. As an innovative care delivery specialist, you will play a crucial role in changing the care delivery experience for patients and providers.
Job SummaryThis full-time, virtual role requires a MA state license and involves managing psychiatric concerns, psychosocial issues, and health behavior change through brief psychotherapeutic interventions delivered virtually.
You will participate in rounds with psychiatric consultants and care managers, conduct psychiatric evaluations to support short-term disability, and provide education and consultation to behavioral health care managers and primary care providers.
- Manage assessment and treatment of psychiatric concerns, psychosocial issues, and health behavior change through brief psychotherapeutic interventions delivered virtually.
- Participate in rounds with psychiatric consultant and care manager.
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations to support short term disability and provide certification of short term disability.
- Provide education and consultation to behavioral health care managers and primary care providers.
- Oversee referrals to specialty mental health services and support a smooth transition from specialty mental health services to primary care and back.
- Collaborate with other Behavioral Health Providers across our national network to improve behavioral health skills company-wide.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A PhD, PsyD, or EdD in Psychology.
- An active license to independently practice with no current supervision requirements.
- An active license in Massachusetts.
- At least 1 year of post-licensure experience in adult outpatient diagnostic evaluation and psychotherapy (for PhD/PsyD/EdD candidates).
- Experience providing a range of brief, goal-directed, and focused clinical services.
- Exceptional capacity to multitask, flexibility, and comfort with ambiguity.
- Strong communication and teaching skills.
- Willingness to work 40 hours per week, including 80% direct patient care and 20% administrative time.
- Eligibility to be credentialed with our Health System Partner.
- Fluency in English.
- Strong preference for fluency in Chinese or Spanish.
- Residency within the USA or US Territories.
