Job Summary

Serenity Recovery Centers seeks a compassionate and experienced Substance Abuse Counselor to lead our clinical team in delivering exceptional care to individuals struggling with addiction. Primary Responsibilities
  1. Manage a caseload of clients, conducting regular assessments and developing personalized treatment plans.
  2. Foster a supportive group therapy environment, encouraging open discussion and collaboration among participants.
  3. Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure seamless delivery of services, including crisis intervention and case management.
  4. Develop and implement effective strategies for engaging resistant clients, promoting increased motivation and engagement in the treatment process.
  5. Prioritize facility cleanliness and maintenance, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike.
  6. Engage in ongoing professional development, staying current with best practices and advancements in the field of addiction treatment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in behavioral health or addictions field of study or a combination of both.
  • Demonstrated expertise in counseling and case management, with a focus on interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A strong commitment to own recovery if applicable, with a minimum of two years of sobriety desired.
  • A proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining a high level of professionalism and discretion.
Compensation Package

The estimated annual salary range for this position is $65,000 - $85,000, reflecting the value we place on exceptional talent and dedication.
