About the Role

We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 per year, with opportunities for growth and professional development. As a Substance Abuse Treatment Counselor, you will work closely with clients to provide comprehensive counseling, case management, and substance abuse rehabilitation services. You will also be responsible for performing initial and ongoing client assessments, developing treatment plans, and facilitating group therapy sessions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry a caseload of clients in substance abuse treatment and provide individualized counseling and support.
  • Conduct initial and ongoing client assessments to identify treatment needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions to promote peer support and education.
  • Assist clients in establishing reachable goals and track progress toward achieving them.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to review client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in behavioral health or a related field.
  • Proven experience working with individuals struggling with substance abuse.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to federal regulations.
