Job Title: Finished Goods Planning Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Finished Goods Planning Supervisor to join our team at International Flavors & Fragrances. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating the production and delivery of finished goods to meet customer demands.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Finished Goods Planners in their scheduling strategy to minimize scheduling constraint issues and meet customer requested ship dates.
  • Review email communications to/from customer service, raw material planning, QC, and other interdepartmental planners and supervisors/managers for any changes affecting customer orders, safety stock, replenishments, intermediate makes, and equipment issues.
  • Communicate high-impact material shortages to Raw Material Planning and Customer Service immediately upon discovery to resolve.
  • Investigate with Raw Material Planning, Process Engineering, Quality Control, and Creative for the use of substitute raw materials in formulas where the BOM's raw materials are not available.
  • Ensure all distressed inventory with QC-approved bulk-off percentage is blended into new batches by the team to reduce or eliminate financial loss.
  • Review OTP reports, identify root causes for late order reason codes, and coordinate with supporting departments to minimize risk of lates.
  • Report monthly production volumes and schedule availability to the operations team.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred and/or related work experience in material, production, or operations planning within a supply chain environment.
  • 2-5 years' experience in finished goods production planning and logistics.
  • Prior management experience is preferred.
Skills:
  • Working knowledge of SAP, SD, MM, PP modules or other ERP systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Ability to effectively communicate (written, verbal, and presentation) within all levels of an organization.
  • Excellent time management, organizational skills, critical thinking, multi-tasking, with attention to details and following up.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively lead a team of 10 people.
