Lead Quality Inspector

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Quality Technician to join our team at Silver Line. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct routine quality inspections of raw materials and finished goods throughout production, including in-process and final inspections.
- Perform Quick Problem-Solving and Root Cause Analysis methods to support the manufacturing process and ensure delivery of quality material.
- Drive quality at the source by providing work areas with the necessary quality control measures.
- Outline critical to quality process steps and understand capabilities, controls, and necessary equipment and tools to adequately perform job functions.
- Support supervisor and operations with line calls and maintain quality at the source through general quality controls and inspections.
- Audit the quality of in-coming materials, work in progress materials, and finished product in accordance with standards.
- Perform all required AAMA quality control physical properties testing on profiles, including Wt./Ft, Heat Resistance, Dimensional Stability & Impact Testing.
- Perform Color Testing of profiles using Color Spectrophotometer.
- Ensure test equipment is calibrated and working correctly and lab area is clean and organized.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of completed testing results.
- Check In, Investigate and Process all customer returns thru our NCR Database.
- Report quality nonconformance to the supervisor immediately.
- Participate with internal and external team members, vendors, and Regional Quality Manager in resolving quality problems by investigating complaints, collecting necessary data, and solving complaint utilizing established Cornerstone Building Brands Quality Problem-Solving methodology.
- Support existing product specifications and new product request by documenting customer expectations and trialed product when needed.
- High school diploma or GED, Associate's degree a plus.
- Experience as an Inspection or quality technician.
- Experience in manufacturing environments that are fast paced.
- Bilingual is preferred but not required.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $25.50 - $28.50 + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
