Position Overview: As a Lighting Specialist, you will play a crucial role in driving profitable sales by serving as a trusted advisor within our business segment. We seek a customer-centric and results-driven individual who is eager to contribute to our success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Energy Solutions sales team in promoting energy-efficient lighting and control solutions to both existing clients and new commercial and industrial sectors.
- Build strong relationships with customers to identify energy-saving opportunities through innovative lighting solutions.
- Develop and present tailored solutions that address business challenges and meet service expectations.
- Assist the Energy Services sales team in managing proposals and key performance indicators to ensure successful closure of Energy Lighting sales.
- Conduct site lighting assessments, audits, and utility rebate calculations to help clients achieve their energy-saving objectives.
- Maintain an active pipeline of lighting assessments to consistently meet sales goals.
- Stay informed about the latest lighting products and industry advancements through continuous training and education.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills to strengthen relationships with prospects, customers, and business partners.
- In-depth knowledge of lighting projects and products, including energy savings, return on investment, and utility rebates.
- Experience with rebate and grant documentation.
- A collaborative and positive attitude.
- 2-5 years of sales experience, preferably within the Energy and Lighting sector.
