Position: Lighting Specialist

We seek a customer-centric and results-driven individual. This role is essential for driving profitable sales by delivering compelling value as a trusted advisor within our market segment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support our Energy Solutions sales team in promoting energy-efficient lighting and control solutions to both existing and new commercial and industrial markets on a full-time basis.
  • Establish strong customer relationships and identify opportunities for energy savings through lighting solutions.
  • Prepare and present tailored solutions to address business challenges and meet service expectations.
  • Assist the Energy Services sales team in managing proposals and key performance indicators to consistently achieve Energy Lighting sales.
  • Conduct site lighting assessments, audits, utility rebate applications, and project return on investment calculations to help customers meet their energy-saving objectives.
  • Maintain an active backlog of lighting assessments to ensure consistent achievement of goals.
  • Continuously develop knowledge of new lighting products and industry technologies through ongoing training and education.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills to build and maintain relationships with prospects, customers, and business partners.
  • Solid understanding of lighting projects and products, including energy savings, ROI, and utility rebates.
  • Experience with rebate and grant documentation.
  • A positive and collaborative attitude.
  • 2-5 years of sales experience, preferably in the Energy & Lighting sector.
