Human Resources Business Partner Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a Human Resources Business Partner Specialist to join our team at United Pacific. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in a designated division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage employee relations cases by providing employee and manager coaching and counseling while ensuring consistent application and interpretation of company policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Lead investigations into harassment, discrimination, hostile work environment, and DFEH/EEOC complaints.
  • Review terminations and disciplinary actions, investigations, employee relations decisions of store/restaurant management for consistency, risk, and completeness.
  • Counsel and advise leadership on performance management issues such as hiring, associate performance, career, and personal development, resolving associate concerns, and terminations.
  • Partner with store/restaurant management to evaluate internal candidates and identify high-potential associates.
  • Conduct field visits, interviews, and exit interviews to understand opportunities for improved retention.
  • Facilitate local training and development sessions as needed.
  • Participate in designing and delivering HR programs to ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Identify organizational safety training needs and develop safety training programs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or a related field, and (4) years of human resources-related experience.
  • Strong business judgment and strategic orientation, particularly in linking HR with business strategies and goals.
  • Experience supporting multi-unit retail and/or restaurant industries.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and facilitation skills.
  • Able to work effectively with all levels of employees.
  • Experience with Microsoft products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Interpersonal and coaching skills.
  • Able to travel as required.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently solve problems and make decisions.
Compensation:

The estimated salary for this role is $90,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
