Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at Mindlance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:
  • Code Development: Design and implement software solutions utilizing VB.Net and C#.
  • Dependency Analysis: Evaluate code and component interdependencies while developing within a configuration-based framework.
  • Database Management: Collaborate with SQL Server databases to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Documentation: Comprehend process design and technical requirements documentation effectively.
  • Team Collaboration: Work autonomously and collaboratively within a project team to create, enhance, and deliver software solutions for both new and existing functionalities.
  • Testing and Analysis: Analyze and prepare data for testing, troubleshoot defects to derive conclusions, identify issues, and provide suitable recommendations.
  • Feedback Provision: Serve as a dependable resource for early feedback on new functionalities and feature modifications.
  • Knowledge Transfer: Document work processes and facilitate knowledge transfer as necessary.
  • Adaptability: Exhibit flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment while managing shifting priorities.
Required Qualifications:
  • 4-5 years of experience in software development using VB.Net (Mandatory).
  • Proficient in SQL Server database development methodologies (Mandatory).
  • Competent in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) (Mandatory).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, capable of engaging with all organizational levels.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, self-motivated with meticulous attention to detail and task follow-through.
  • Familiarity with Tax business processes.
