Job Description: Medical Assistant - 3 West Unit

We are seeking a dynamic Medical Assistant to join our team on the 3 West unit at the Alfond Center for Health in Augusta. This position involves providing patient care under the supervision of an RN, performing basic patient care activities, and assisting patients with their emotional, physical, and spiritual needs. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to think independently, and a willingness to learn and grow.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • State of Maine Certified Nursing Assistant Certification
  • Current BLS (American Heart Association)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High school graduate or equivalent (preferred)
  • Comfortable using a computer
