Job Overview

Hentzen Coatings, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our Batavia facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving corporate objectives and ensuring the efficient and safe operation of production to minimize costs and maximize profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement plans to meet company goals and objectives.
  • Identify and execute initiatives to improve day-to-day performance and efficiency.
  • Promote effective safety programs and compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Set and prioritize continuous improvement and cost efficiency goals.
  • Oversee manufacturing schedules and labor management.
  • Ensure processes and procedures are in place to maintain ISO certification.
  • Lead capital budget process and review major projects.
  • Oversee hiring, development, retention, and performance of staff.
  • Manage raw materials and finished goods inventory.
  • Develop and monitor spending budgets.
  • Monitor delivery performance.
  • Ensure adherence to safety rules and promote safe work practices.
  • Conduct performance reviews and participate in quality system audits.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a Science-related field (Chemistry, Technology, or Engineering) preferred.
  • Seven to ten years of progressive responsibility in production management.
  • Leadership capabilities with the ability to lead by example.
  • Exemplify core values: Integrity, Loyalty, Passion, Commitment, and Respect.
  • Excellent team building and communications skills.
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, ERP system, and other office machinery).
  • Understanding of NFPA, EPA, emissions, and OSHA regulations.
Work Environment

The Site Manager will work in a fast-paced production environment with frequent interactions with team members. The role requires excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work in a team environment.
