Healthcare Customer Service Specialist

Della Infotech, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Healthcare Customer Service Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing large volumes of orders through both inbound and outbound calls, as well as in-person interactions in a center location.
Key Responsibilities:
* Handle patient, referral source, and administrative department inquiries
* Communicate with insurance companies and/or prior authorization requests
* Enter patient information into a customer information system
* Ensure customer satisfaction and assist with issues/concerns related to their health
* Make decisions as needed off-hours or without supervision to ensure uninterrupted supply of product to customers
* Develop knowledge of customer needs and trends to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty
* Become educated in qualifications of multiple insurances to ensure clean order intake
Required Skills and Qualifications
* 2-3 years' experience with all Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
* Typing speed: 35-40 WPM
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
