Job Summary

The Member Services Representative will be responsible for delivering an exceptional member experience by providing top-notch customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
  • Handle front desk activities, including answering phones, checking members into the system, and facilitating new member sign-ups.
  • Assist with maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the club.
  • Respond to member inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner, escalating issues as needed.
Requirements
  • Customer service background preferred.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • A passion for fitness and health.
  • Upbeat and positive attitude.
  • Punctuality and reliability are essential.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and colleagues.
  • Strong listening and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions, using appropriate behavior and language.
  • High School diploma/GED equivalent required.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
Physical Demands
  • Continual standing and walking during shifts.
  • Continual talking in person or on the phone during shifts.
  • Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Occasional exposure to toxic chemicals.
