Job Overview

As a Client Advocate, you'll work closely with our financial advisors to provide exceptional service to our clients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Deepening relationships with existing clients and identifying opportunities to expand our services.
  • Gathering information and collecting suitability information to open new accounts and provide tailored solutions.
  • Researching portfolio performance, cost/fees, asset allocation, and making recommendations to financial advisors to optimize client portfolios.
  • Executing financial advisor-solicited buy/sell orders and confirming with clients to ensure seamless transactions.
  • Answering general client questions regarding Edward Jones stock recommendations and withdrawals, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Actively business planning and working as a team to continuously evaluate and execute branch strategies, driving business growth and improvement.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A High School Diploma or Equivalent; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in the securities/financial services industry, preferably with a focus on client service and relationship-building.
  • Series 7 and Series 66 registrations; if not currently registered, registrations may be obtained at Edward Jones during the assigned study period.
  • FINRA registrations are required within three months; state insurance licenses are also required.
