Job Summary:
Temple University Hospital seeks a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team in the Pulmonary Consultants department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our physicians to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Treat and evaluate patients, providing advanced nursing care in a clinical specialty area under the direction of a licensed physician.
- Perform a wide range of patient care activities, including diagnosis and prescription of medical therapeutics or corrective measures in collaboration with and under the direction of a licensed physician.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and goals.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines, research, and best practices in pulmonary care.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Required)
- Masters Degree in Nursing (Required)
- 1 Year experience in a clinical specialty practice (Preferred)
- 2 Years experience as a nurse practitioner (Preferred)
- CRNP - PA Cert Reg Nurse Practitioner (Required)
- RN-LIC - PA Registered Nurse License (Required)
- PRX-AUTH - Prescriptive Authority (Preferred)
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
